“Mann Vol. 1” compiles the past seven years of Mann’s work chronicling the lush portraits and haunting cityscapes created from his post-graduate work to the current day.
The book features introductions by gallery owner John Pence and noted painter Justin “Coro” Kaufmann.
At 384 pages, this massive new omnibus spans hundreds of paintings, each presented with immaculate detail and color reproduction personally overseen by the artist himself. With a focus primarily directed to the work, “Mann Vol. 1” features only ten pages of text, and over twenty paintings reproduced at full size.
“Mann Vol. 1” comes with a dust jacket and weighs over 6 pounds.

Frankly, I just ran into a discussion about the artist on Reddit, and was captivated by the pix I saw. I immediately bought the book. My wife and I meter out our viewing; a few dozen pages at a time, over morning coffee.
I have essentially no knowledge of art, other than spending time in many museums over the years - but I do know what captivates me - drama that pulls me into the scene, without being totally clear about where I'm going or what I'll see.
Mechanically, the book is well printed and bound; the reproductions glow; it's certainly worthy and durable to leave out to capture one's friends.
So - clearly I'll be following Mann for a long time, even if there's the confusing issue of the duck carcasses.

un livre magnifique pour un artiste unique.
Il nous permet de contempler tous les jours des tableaux incroyables, sinon visibles uniquement sur nos écrans d'ordinateurs !! :-(

Jeremy Mann is one of the world's top artists. His US streetscapes are unquestionably America's best. I'm very pleased to own Mann Volume 1.

A hundred percent satisfied with this purchase. I bought it for the city pieces I've seen on instagram. But when I finally got the book there is so much more to enjoy. Definitely recommend it. It's a great buy. Amazing art.

The books quality, content, construction and overall volume is very impressive and a coffee table book no doubt. What I wish there would have been more of insight to the artist thoughts, the phases he's gone through, and overall what he's discovered about himself and where he's headed.

This is a top quality production of the work of Jeremy Mann. His cityscapes are the best I've seen and his figurative work is wonderfully creative and sensitive.
